StatBroadcast signs up first professional team, Oklahoma City Energy FC, for StatMonitr for 2015

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. -- StatBroadcast announced today that it has agreed to terms with the Oklahoma City Energy Football Club to provide real-time stats for media and staff in the venue for the team's 2015 season. The Oklahoma City Energy are members of the United Soccer League and are the first professional sports franchise to use StatBroadcast at their venue.

The OKC Energy FC is a professional soccer team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, which played its inaugural season in the United Soccer League (USL) in 2014. The Energy finished their inaugural season in tenth place with a 9-14-5 record, five points shy of a playoff spot. This season, the Energy will play their home games at the newly renovated Taft Stadium; the Energy also have an affiliation agreement with Sporting Kansas City of the MLS.

The USL (renamed from USL PRO this year) is a professional soccer league that began play in 2011. Sanctioned as a Division III professional league by US Soccer, it is under the MLS (Division I) and the North American Soccer League (Division II). This season, the USL will have 24 teams in competition with two more joining in 2016.
