2013 BCS National Champion Florida State Selects StatMonitr for 2014-15

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. -- Florida State University has selected the StatMonitr media stats system to use for its home athletic events during the 2014-15 academic year, StatBroadcast announced today.

Florida State University is a public university located in the state capital city of Tallahassee, Florida. Founded in 1821, FSU has an enrollment of more than 31,000 students and is consistently nationally ranked in many of its academic programs. The FSU Seminoles are members of the Atlantic Coast Conference of NCAA Division-I FBS. The FSU football team captured the 2013 BCS National Championship at the Rose Bowl in January 2014, marking their third national championship in football; FSU's football team has also notched 17 conference championships and 51 winning seasons in its 67 years of play. The FSU athletic program has compiled 13 national championships and 184 conference championships between its 20 varsity sports teams and has earned 8 consecutive finishes in the Top 15 of the NACDA Director's Cup standings.

FSU is the eighth university from Florida, the tenth member of the ACC and the ninth BCS champion to select StatBroadcast to provide its statistics technologies.
