University of Toledo selects StatMonitr

TOLEDO, OHIO -- The University of Toledo has elected to use the StatMonitr media stats system for its remaining on-campus events in 2013-14, StatBroadcast announced today. In addition to offering StatBroadcast’s web-based stats feed for media members, the athletic department will also use StatMonitr stat screens on its press row.

The University of Toledo is a public research university located in Toledo, Ohio, with a current enrollment of more than 23,000 students. Founded in 1872 as the Toledo University of Arts and Trades, Toledo became a state university in 1967 and merged with the Medical University of Ohio in 2006. The Toledo Rockets compete at the NCAA Division I FBS program, are members of the Mid American Conference, and sponsor 15 varsity sports. The Toledo football program has won thirteen conference (10 MAC titles since resuming its program in 1951) and appeared in 13 bowl games. The Rockets men’s basketball team has won eight conference regular season titles and appeared in the NCAA tournament four times, including a 1979 Sweet Sixteen berth.
