University of Nebraska tabs StatMonitr for 2013-14

LINCOLN, NEB. -- The University of Nebraska will use the StatMonitr media stats system for its home athletic events in 2013-14, StatBroadcast announced today.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is a public university located in Lincoln, Nebraska, with an enrollment of 24,500. It is the flagship university of the University of Nebraska system and is the oldest and largest university in the state, foudned in 1869. The Nebraska Cornhuskers are members of the Big Ten conference of NCAA Division I and compete in 22 varsity sports. The Huskers boast one of the most successful college football programs of all-time, having won 43 conference championships and five national championship; they are one of only two schools in the last 65 years to have won three national titles in four years (1994, 1995 and 1997; Alabama matched that feat in 2009, 2011 and 2012). Nebraska has also claimed three NCAA national championships in women's volleyball, most recently in 2006.
