Baylor University selects StatMonitr for 2013-14

WACO, TEXAS -- StatBroadcast Systems announced today it has reached agreement with Baylor University to provide its StatMonitr media stats system for all Baylor home athletic events during the 2013-14 academic year, beginning this August.

Baylor University is a private Baptist university located in Waco, Texas. Founded in 1845, Baylor is the oldest university in the State of Texas and one of the first educational institutions built west of the Mississippi River. Located on the banks of the Brazos River and less than 100 miles from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Baylor boasts an enrollment of 12,575. The Baylor Bears are a member of the Big 12 Conference for all 17 of the their NCAA Division I varsity sports. The Baylor women's basketball team has garnered national attention in recent years, having won two National Championships in 2006 and 2012, as a Final Four appearance in 2010; their 2012 run included a perfect record, becoming the first team in men's or women's college basketball to finish 40-0. The Baylor men's basketball team won the 2013 National Invitational Tournament after reaching the Elite Eight in their previous two NCAA berths (2010 and 2012). Baylor football is entering its 115th year of competition and in that time has notched 10 major bowl victories and seven conference championships.
