Auburn University selects StatMonitr for 2012-13

AUBURN, ALA. -- Auburn University and StatBroadcast Systems have reached agreement to use the StatMonitr media stats system on the Auburn campus during 2012-13 for delivery of real-time statistics to media and staff for home athletic events.

Auburn University is a public university located in Auburn, Ala., founded in 1856. The school currently enrolls more than 25,000 students. The Auburn Tigers compete in the Western division of the Southeastern Conference and sponsor 19 varsity sports at the Division I level. A founding member of the SEC, The Tigers have won 52 SEC titles in 80 years of competition; they have also won 16 national championships, including their most recent, winning the 2010 football national championship in the BCS Title Game held in Glendale, Ariz.

Auburn joins Arkansas, Kentucky and Tennessee as SEC schools that currently partner with StatBroadcast; the SEC conference also uses StatBroadcast's technologies for its football and basketball championships.
